In this achievement-driven Western world, we are driven to prove ourselves time and time again, leading to feelings of not being good enough. It is important to have compassion, beginning with yourself.
When we view ourselves through the eyes of compassion, forgiveness and love , we start to view the world the same. giving time to yourself is the most unselfish thing you can do, for by being the best you, you can give the best of yourself to others.

It is a curious paradox that when we accept ourselves, just as we are, then we can change. Noticing, recognising thoughts and actions without judgement or criticism is the first step to change.
